Author – lessons learned

The majority of Baby Boomers realize they will live much longer than they expected.  They don’t regret their previous indiscretions because most want to use their story to help those who are struggling down similar paths.

My plan is to encourage male Baby Boomers to become mentors, teachers, leaders or friends to those who need a healthy, active and aging role model.

You’re Too Old to Die Young

— Dr Bill Mcguire (Former CEO of United Health Group and Owner of the Minnesota United FC)
Dan’s analogy of the human brain being like a jukebox is very creative because it depicts the ‘play or lose it’ theme of live.

I bought your book after reading your story in the Minneapolis Tribune. I am 56 and want to go into old age in peak form. I eat fairly healthy but will make other improvements by following your suggestions. Thanks for writing this book.

You’ve tapped into a very important nerve that all my old college buddies will appreciate. You book incriminates me in great ways. I truly mean that, all though I can’t believe I’m “that guy”. Thanks for writing this book. I gave my Cardiologist a copy.

I really enjoyed every page as it flows just like you are speaking to me. It is so pertinent to me as I recently retired. Fine accomplishment, hope it is well received.

I bought this for my dad after hearing such great things about Dan Zeman. My dad said ‘it is a no-nonsense approach to health and happiness for male baby boomers like myself.’ What a great present!

Dan convinced me the worst thing in life should NOT be getting old! The book provides many ideas of how to create a solid foundation to fight the aging process. I’m hoping these changes will make my retirement the best time in my life.

There’s plenty to like in Dan’s book. I found the advice practical and actionable. Dan’s examples make the point that generic internet advice may not be the advice that works of YOU in YOUR situation.
— Jason V.
An empowering, uplifting book from a man who’s worked with some great athletes, including Greg LeMond, one of America’s greatest. Dan knows how to distill complex medicine and science into simple conversational terms, which is the only that works with a reader like me. Well worth a read if you are of Generation X (like me) or older.
— Daniel D.
As a 60-year-old male, this book was perfect for me. I love Dan’s common-sense approach, nothing fancy, don’t buy big equipment….but it reminded me I’m on the right track and to stay the course. I found myself saying ‘yes, yes, yes’ as I read the book. It’s a must read for aging male readers.

I’m a 57-year-old woman and I read this book with great fascination. This book is filled with great tips for and advice for every guy I love or care about. Dan’s writing style is very easy to read and his tips are not hard to follow. He makes a promise that the book will be a wake-up call and then delivers on that promise. But he doesn’t stop there – he also lays out an action plan for making changes that will impact the health, happiness and prosperity of men who probably never thought they would get past age 30. This important book should be on every man’s night stand. Highly recommended.
